Army Day 2019

On friday 5th July 2019 we welcomed The Combined Forces, a voluntary army activity group that delivered an exciting Military Army based Activity Day at Hailey Hall School in Hertford.

Pupils experienced team building activities around Field Craft, Firing Range, Drill, Assault Course and learnt about the military history. Members of The Combined Forces group arrived at school early to set up Headquarters which was surrounded by base camps for each activity.

All pupils had an incredible time, with many saying “What a great day!”,  “Can we do this everyday?”.

All pupils conducted themselves in a professional manner.  Their enthusiasm and willingness to learn about our Armed Forces was inspiring.  A big thank you to The Combined Forces team for providing an incredible experience for our pupils.

In addition, pupils had a non-uniform day where they made a voluntary donation of a £1 in aid of The Royal British Legion and we raised £47.60.

Pupils even got to take part in a pass out parade in the afternoon, which parent/carers were invited to watch their sons awarded Certificates for completing the day’s events.
