Assessment and monitoring of our Careers' Programme
CAREERS' PROGRAMME - Assessment, monitoring and advice
All staff contribute to CEIAG through their roles as teacher and form tutors.
Specialist provision is also provided by Youth Connection Hertfordshire and Essex Advice and Guidance, who start working with our Pupils in years 9, 10 and 11. These services keep in touch with our families and visit our school regularly for 1-2-1 meetings, offering College and Career advice .
The Careers' Programme is monitored and evaluated by the Acting Deputy Headteacher, Mr Barnaby Aldiss, in consultation with other senior colleagues.
The Compass Tool also helps the school to evaluate our progress against the eight Gatsby Benchmarks. The CEC can inspect our work against the Benchmarks to ensure that our evaluation is effective.
We also have a link Trustee, Jacqueline Clarke, who regularly scrutinises the School's approach and progress in terms of the Careers' Programme, and reports to the Board of Trustees regarding this.
