SCHOOL CLOSURE WITH EFFECT FROM 23RD NOVEMBER 2020

Dear Parents/Carers,

We have recently written to you all to inform you that we have some confirmed cases of COVID-19 within the school.

Unfortunately, most of the students and a large number of staff have been asked to self-isolate, because they are close contacts, and the School will therefore not be able to open from 23rd November 2020.  Your child should not, therefore, attend School until  7th December 2020. Please email admin@haileyhall.herts.sch.uk if you have any queries.

Those children and staff members who have been in direct prolonged contact with the confirmed case will have received an individual letter advising them to self-isolate in line with the national guidance.

In the meantime please can you observe the following:

If their test is negative, they can return to the School on 4th December, if they are well.

If their test is positive they will need to self-isolate for 10 days from the date when your symptoms start. All your household members must self-isolate for 14 days.

The date of symptom onset is day zero.
